About Me

I have made drawings, paintings and photos for years, a talent my family shares as well and a gift we have passed on to my kids. After studying to become a graphic artist I took a detour doing other types work.  Along the way it also opened up other opportunities such as coaching youth soccer for my two sons for five years.  I raced cars all over the Northwest for 16 years winning two championships along the way.  I was able to work on the Parks and Recreations board and helped get a new aquatic center built, and was elected to our local city council for two terms.  I was never more honored when I was nominated and received the Washington Public Utility Districts Association public service award for all the things I had done, all simply because I wanted to contribute to my community.

Now I do things a bit more mellow.  I am still busy, but I also spend a lot of time on my computer working on designs, photos and websites. But for fun I still need a thrill now and then as I jump toward my skydiving license. But thankfully, art and design is where I am rooted and what I am lucky to be doing as my career.

The name 3KYDD comes from my 3 kids named Kylie, Dekker and Dalton, so it was easy.  3KYDD pronounced simply, 3kid.  Not hard, just fun!
